finally…
my initial intent for this blog was not only to write about art, faith, life, & blah blah blah…but also to actually SHOW some artwork (or at least the stages of some project).
It had actually been awhile since I`ve worked on a series of drawings that I even felt comfortable showing to the public eye. But, here are a few character sketches from a story that a good friend of mine has been working on (click on the thumbnails for larger):
Just started working with the Wacom tablet for coloring mostly, but I`m pretty happy with the results so far. In anycase, let me know what you think…

Good job, keep it up. I have a really cool program called Alias Sketchbook that works with the wacom tablet extremly well. It makes the most realistic looking pencil drawings you’ll ever see. I’ll send it your way if your interested.

Good stuff. Have you checked out ArtRage? It’s a great inexpensive painting program that works well with the Wacom. You can either scan in sketches to use as base art, or do them straight in the program. Some cool oil painting textures are achievable as well.
